Who We Are
So, in my past life, I'm pretty sure I was the wind, just casually camping in the mountains in my vintage popup camper. Chillin' with Nova, our badass three-legged desert dog, we're out here hiking through desert washes, brushing past the sand hills and checking out cool rocks.
I might've been a tumbleweed too- no set trail, just rolling over the red rocks, climbing up high to watch Nova flex her longhorn sheep-skills.
And maybe, I had a stint as a bird. There's this feeling when you're up top, looking out over the canyon floor, that only those in flight know.
Hiking is my zen, my way of staying grounded, and the adventure that comes with it is a blast. I've even floated parts of the Colorado River—not a total river rat, but I love feeling small next to the power of the rapids and towering rock cliffs. Oh, and I used to be a rock climber, hoping to get back into it soon—it was a big part of who I am.
Photography? Yep, it's my thing. I’ve been at it for about 15 years now, meeting folks from all over the globe. Whether it's through poetry, short films, or photography, I always have to dive into the stories—know why people are who they are, where they're from, and where they're headed. Expression is key for me.
I'm a dreamer, but thanks to Mike, I've got one foot on the ground too. Living in the moment is my jam, but I know how to prepare for whatever might come. Moab's my playground, letting me be free and adventurous while learning to be safe in the elements. I’ve met some awesome like-minded people here, all about living with intention and sharing the belief that nature's the glue connecting us all.
I'm all about hitting the trails, whether it's on a mountain bike or cruising on a dirt bike. I like to eat healthy (Liz has a sweet tooth for both of us!) and taking a holistic vibe to self-care. Lately, I've been getting into fly fishing in the alpine lakes and streams—new passion alert, and I'm itching to explore it more this season. When I decide to dive into something, I'm going all in!
Growing up, my dad had me posing for his photography business doing test shots and planted the seed for my love of photography.
Moab's been a game-changer, showing me I can tackle my fears head-on, and failure…that just paves the way for some epic success.
If you have questions about gear for this wild weather and terrain, I worked at "The" gear shop in town, so I can help out for sure. Plus, I'm loaded with info on bike trails and all the cool spots around Moab.
